In the technical framework of intelligent security systems, antennas serve as the critical components of wireless communication, acting as the ‘nerve hub’ that connects the entire chain of perception, transmission, and analysis. Core applications of antennas in security scenarios

Contactless Access and Access Control


RFID antennas enable contactless identification at distances of 1–5 metres, automatically verifying access permissions and opening access points as personnel or items approach. This addresses the issues of queuing congestion and misidentification caused by traditional card swiping and fingerprint recognition systems, significantly improving access efficiency. We have designed an RFID system-compatible PCB antenna, which operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and utilises near-field coupling characteristics, making it a standard feature in office buildings and residential communities. This type of antenna generates an alternating magnetic field through coil winding design. When the sensing distance is controlled within 10 centimetres, it can instantly read card information, and when combined with encryption algorithms, it effectively prevents card cloning and unauthorised use.




Video surveillance enhancement


Directional antennas and circular polarisation technology are applied to smart cameras to reduce multipath interference in dense urban environments, lowering the error rate by 75% and ensuring stable transmission of high-definition video streams. Smart antenna arrays can also dynamically adjust beam direction to automatically cover monitoring blind spots. With the integration of 5G and AI technologies, directional antennas will further combine with intelligent beamforming algorithms to achieve dynamic signal tracking of moving targets, thereby enhancing the perception capabilities of video surveillance systems.



Drone security patrols


The unmanned aerial vehicle is equipped with an RTK positioning antenna and a multi-frequency communication antenna, which, combined with millimetre wave technology, achieve centimetre-level positioning accuracy. This enables high-precision data transmission in complex terrain during surveying and emergency rescue operations. Adaptive antenna technology compensates for signal shifts caused by changes in flight attitude, ensuring communication stability at wind speeds of up to 80 km/h. The GNSS RTK antenna developed by Bat Wireless employs an eight-arm coupling and four-feedpoint feeding technology, supporting Beidou-2, GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO systems' L1 and L2 dual-frequency satellite navigation signals. It incorporates a low-noise amplifier and a two-stage filter, offering excellent out-of-band suppression and strong anti-interference capabilities, ensuring normal operation in harsh electromagnetic environments. It meets the current requirements for multi-system compatibility and high-precision measurement.
